Tim's Tip
of the Day
|
| The beauty of reading is that the reader brings to the material their experience
and background often projecting themselves into what they read. Today I got a nasty
piece of email from someone who did not read a story written six months ago but simply
assumed what was in the story and reacted to it. Oddly enough that is not that uncommon
as reading text on a computer screen is a difficult task and you are always advised
to print out stuff that looks like it will need some extra thought. |

| Summer holidays: That's right, 2003 is the first year since 1991 that we have had
a chance to take a holiday. During June, July and the first two weeks of August we
will have some intermittant days when Ensign will not post. Our plan is to
do some tripping and camping here in Saskatchewan. Posting each day this week. |
