MINISTER'S REPORT- 2015
On this prairie land where we live, the days are now noticeably longer, and we experience the light as the days lengthen. We make our way through this light only to experience the darkness again. It is this ongoing ritual of light and dark that in part creates us as a prairie people.
Interim ministry is always an interesting process, and this one at St. Paul’s United Church is no exception. You are an interesting congregation, and I believe you will find ways to be The United Church of Canada in Tisdale. You will need to be creative in your work to keep going, and I trust you will do that as the light of summer, and the dark days of winter inspire you. We need both the light and the dark to do our work. The long days of summer will inspire you, and the short winter days are an opportunity to both work and rest. A time perhaps of reflection.
Our interim goals have been mostly met. You will need to remember that conflict resolution is ongoing, and as long as the church experiences change, some conflict is inevitable.
We will continue our circle conversations, talking about our future, and how that might unfold. I encourage you to come and participate. Your voice is an important part of your church. I am grateful to the Transition Team for their support, and for all their hard work in the transition process. And thanks to everyone who participated in the work of the church at this time.
The interim ministry is over at the end of June; at which time I will move to Saskatoon, and retire. It has been a privilege to do this interim work with you.
May you continue to practice the skills that you have learned in this time, and may you be blessed by wisdom and grace in your ministry as it unfolds.

CHAIRPERSON ’S REPORT - 2015
As we move into the last few months of our Interim Ministry, we extend thanks to Rev. Sharon Ferguson-Hood and the Transition Team who have shepherded our congregation through the past two years of challenge, study and exploration of possibilities for the future of St. Paul’s United Church.
A Joint Needs Assessment Committee (JNAC) has been formed and is moving forward with plans for a call to Full Time Ministry.
Thanks to all Board and Committee members for their continued commitment and support.
