Winnipeg endures double hit

FTLComm - Winnipeg - July 18, 2005 by : Andrew Shire
Two nasty thunderstorms visited Winnipeg after midnight in the early hours of Sunday, Jluy 17th. Together they dumped 90mm of rain on the city flooding street, filling under passes and backing up the sewer system. With the rain came winds with more that 110Km which up rooted trees and knocked over anything that wasn't locked down.

These pictures were taken at 2:30 AM in the St. James area of the city.
