Farm Yard Forest At Birch Hills

I have often driven by this farm site a few miles North of Birch Hills on the West side of the highway and admired the stand of trees. Late Sunday afternoon I stopped and drove back to photograph the shadows in the trees as the late day sun stole its way through the stand. This tiny forest has the trees widely spaced to offer some light to the ground and what might grow there in summer but the main show is the stand of trees.
