Day 3 would see our first ascent of a mountain, Mount Gordon. It was a long haul,
done with a great deal of pain as my army tendonitis had returned with a vengeance.
I had both knee's wrapped very tightly as ankles and now the knees began to fail.
But as things got really tough on this hike, I developed a rhythm, a movement of
the arms and a turning of the upper body. As the pain moved from my feet to my legs
