Tisdale Swimming Pool Opens for Season

	FTLComm - Tisdale - May 28, 1998 Its that time of the year already as the Tisdale Swimming pool opened its doors to the public today. Ironically after a week of warm and pleasant weather, though today was sunny the air temperature was a bracing +10C. But today's swimmers did not seem to notice. Bob Price had his class over to the pool and they were definitely enjoying the experience. This is the first year for the high school classes to have the benefit of being part of the recreation complex and being about to go skating and swimming in season is a definite plus for the RecPlex location.
With that cool temperature today I would have thought the the hot tub (above) would have been full but it was diving and water fun for everyone.	For the pool staff it was the first day open to the public but Allison Stratton (above) and her coworkers have been on the job for a while now getting things ready and the water temperature and facilities are in the peek of condition.
