FTLComm - Tisdale - October 30, 1998
The old Tisdale substation has reached a time when it needs to be rebuilt. The materials in the old substation are showing their age and so before they become a serious problem a new one will be created back from the road right alongside the rail line. The ground had been prepared for the projected over a month ago but it was not until this week that serious work was begun assembling the elements that will form the structure and framework for the project. The capacity and transforming capability of the new facility will be the same as the present one.
