Each year the Trojans take an evening to hand out the awards for the past season's achievements and at the same time say thanks to the many people who volunteer to make the Trojan organisation run. This year's event took place Saturday, April 25th in the RECPlex auditorium and began with an outstanding roast beef supper.
Gifts were presented to the wives of the coaches (right) and the general manager.
The president of the Trojan club, Dwight Olson expressed the club's appreciation to the many volunteers and the hard 
working efforts of the executive to bring about yet another successful year.
Clinton Hall, a long time member of the executive was presented with this year's Spirit award.
General manager Garry McPeak (right) was given a watch and the organisation's gratitude for having served the Trojan club since it was established twenty years ago.
Kim Markwart presented a Roots watch to Greg Ferguson (#19 below) in recognition for being selected player of the month for the month of February.
Al Jellicoe (below) present the award for Three Star selection for February to goalie Mitch Kilgore. T. A. Jellicoe and Gus' Greek Ribs make this award each month but starting next year the plan is to change the award into a scholarship.
General Manager Garry McPeak talked about some features of the Trojan programme that will be enhanced in the coming year. Assistant coach Colin Ruether went through the outstanding achievements by the players this past season and Coach Barry Archibald commented about the whole system as the players, parents, billets and the club work together in a very special experience for all.
The master of ceremonies for the evening was Kenny Trenton (right) from CJVR who not only moved the evening along but also kept everyone up to date on the score of the game in Humboldt as it was going during the evening.
The awards and scholarships which are the main event of the evening saw the various sponsors present the awards to the distinguished players of this past season and you can check out these by going to the Trojan's web site awards page for all of the details.
