The third highest scorer on the Tisdale Trojans AAA midget team this year Shawn Cowie shares with his brother that third spot with 19 points with eleven goals and eight assists. He is one of those goal hungry players that has made the Trojans top contenders this year in the league. A fast skating forward with a positive attitude make for a winning combination.

The Trojans played to a large crowd last night, with the storm on I expected a small turn out but Tisdale fans, though they are a silent bunch are loyal and were out in force to see an outstanding game between the Trojans and the Prince Albert Mintos. The game was rarely interrupted with penalties as both teams skated end to end in a great show of stick handling and puck control.

The Trojans scored the first goal in the second minute of play of the first period but it was one of those games were the goal tending and play making kept the fans busy just keeping track of the action. In the end it was Prince Albert who claimed the victory with a score of three to two.

As mentioned that was a nasty storm last night and yet a good contingent of vocal fans from Prince Albert were on hand to cheer the Mintos on, that encouragement does make a difference in game as close as the one last night.
