The skill and experience of the Tisdale Ramblers kept Gronlid/Choiceland under control for all of the first and right until the end of the second period, where the goal below made the score 2 - 6 as Tisdale out shot the Tigers more then two to one. The Tigers are a much younger team and their endurance and attitude took them into the third period with a sense of hope. The night before they had come from behind and won in overtime against Carrot River.

A good crowd of supportive fans were on hand for the opening game and with the positive look of this season we can count on seeing a lot more people out for future games. Senior hockey is exciting stuff, with all of the teams in the Pasquia League this year evenly matched this year promises to be the best hockey you will see.
