After The Shower

Late yesterday the threats of rain were at last fullfilled and a gentle shower washed over the town leaving the sparkle that only raindrops can give. The first two pictures were taken at 5:30 while the last two were taken around 7:45 as the sun disappeared behind the growing overcast of early evening. With harvest almost done this light rain settled the dust gave everyone a chance to take a breather and reminds us all of how dry things have been as it is now three weeks since I last mowed our drab tan lawn.
