Still fund raising

The Golden Age Centre is nearing completion but volunteers are still doing their part to see that there are enough funds to wrap things up in style and be free of debt. These ladies were in the mall this morning selling raffle tickets on a gas powered weed eater, an afghan and a grocery hamper. Monday night, October 22, at 7:30 the association will be holding their annual meeting and this will be the first event to be held in the new Golden Age Centre. The poster advertising the meeting advises members to bring a chair. We will have some pictures of the work in progress at the Centre tomorrow and will have some pictures of meeting Monday night.
