Ruined Vacation
This picture pretty much says it all. This incident took place on the East bound lane of the TransCanada Highway East of Virden as the four lane high dips down into a sweeping valley Tuesday afternoon. The two doored Chevy Blazer pulling a camper lost control and flipped. Pulling anything behind a vehicle requires skill and vacationers often do not have time to pick up the needed background for the task at hand. The short wheel based SUVs as a group of vehicles have a high centre of gravity and are often seen tipped over on highways without the added encumbrance of a trailer. From the look of this scene insurance claims, ruined vacation and embarrassment will be the main problem as the vehicle appears to have turned over after slowing considerably.
