Judy Mahoney has been the art and English teacher at John William Head Memorial Education Centre since 1990 when she joined the staff in November. Since then she has inspired and worked with some of the nicest students any teacher could ever want to associate with. Willing always to try things and expand their creativity students at Red Earth excell at art and many could do well choosing this like of work as a career.
This is a grade eleven class busily doing their versions of cartoons as they work with colour and cartoons make use of the already highly developed sketching skills.
When I took the picture of some art on the walls in the room I thought it had little chance of turning out and now I wish I had captured more of these amazing drawings to share wity you, perhaps another time.
