The First Day of Summer |

Mrs. Playford devotes a considerable amount of time to planning and looking after
her domain to the joy and betterment of all who pass by her door. Several years
ago she began a campaign to enrich her environment by growing wild flowers and the
rest has been history. This portion of her yard, once a vegitable garden now is
a festival of blossoms and will remain so until the first snow of the year. Wilf flowers are tough and they can take the variations in temperature and moisture. She told me she was less than happy with this year's amount of moisture but was certain her flowers would do just fine anyway. |
