These two pictures are of the same farm yard which has a certain quaint charm to it and when these pictures were taken the shadows are the main actors. The wood below, which is immediately East of this farm site. Because there is little underbrush we get this great pattern of shadows across the hillside. Even on a cloudy day this stand of poplar always catches my eye as they stand there spread out and so straight.
