Following Up FTLComm - Tisdale July 26, 1999 Here are two stories that we were looking at during this past week: Tank number nine was loaded and set out on its journey to Montreal Sunday leaving only two behind at Northern Steel Industries yard. This picture taken a kilometre South of town tells the story for Sunday.
Early last week we discussed the progress of various crops in the area and this picture of a very nicely filling wheat crop East of town shows the extent of this bounty. This crop has large plump heads and is thick, a few hot days with the moisture it was receiving when this picture was taken Sunday will turn it all to gold and it will not be long until we will be talking about harvest for crops like this one, that were planted early.
