FTLComm - Humboldt - July 22, 1998 With the development of large scale hog operations one of the major concerns is air quality, inside and around the facility. Del-Air Systems of Humboldt has come to the industry's rescue with a line of air handling equipment that cools and refreshes on a big scale. Because of the dangerous nature of the byproduct of concentrated numbers of animals, without sufficient airflow, the animals and any living thing in the area, can be adversely affected in minutes. The gases are extremely corrosive and to build durable and reliable fans and housings Del-Air has gone to the production of plastic louvers, fan mounts and ductwork. Their large facility in Humboldt not only assembles the fans and airflow valves but actually casts the massive plastic units as seen in the pictures below. |
