West of Spokane the glass from the driver's side mirror floated away. It is held in place only by adhesive and when it gave out the mirror took flight. I never saw the police car just about parasllel with the Escape in Tow when I move from the right hand lane through the through lane into the turn lane. The man was not impressed but let me off with a stern lecture in lew of a $1,200 fine. I was able to get a Spokane glass shop, "Glass Co" to come over to my camp site, make a template, then go back to the shop to make a new mirror. Then he came back to the site and installed the mirror. Pretty damn great service for a Friday afternoon at 4:30. .
