Carrot River - Economics Paradox

Carrot River is a big town with an abundance of industry and it would appear that it has all the customers it needs to be an ideal location for continued economic development. Six new houses are in various stages of completion and there are no houses for sale or rent at this time yet the Royal Bank has closed up shop, the Lucky Dollar store is closed leaving only the Co-op as a source for food in the town. Other closed businesses are left vacant on main street including a hardware and a garage.
