These pictures of two houses on 107th Avenue were taken around 3:30 this afternoon with some safety fencing in place around the remains. The fire broke out some time after 2:00 AM this morning and the families were able to get out of their homes safely. From the fire damage it would appear that the house on the right ignited and it in turn set fire to the roof of the neighbouring house. It is important to note that there had been showers off and on all night so the fire in the first house must have been very intense and spread very rapidly. From these pictures you can see a car in the garage completely destroyed but the pickup and camper in the

backyard survived.

This picture (left) shows the back of the first house from the back alley across from the Lutheran Church.

There maybe some of the contents of the second house that are salvageable but it looks like everything in the first house has been destroyed, in fact there is very little left of the first house still standing.

Fire is always a threat to a community but Tisdale has not had a multi-dwelling fire like this in the past twelve years.
