Canada Day 2004
|
FTLComm - Tisdale - Tuesday, June 6, 2004 |
Though it seemed chilly when we set off for breakfast Thursday
morning and we had put jackets on because of the edge on the wind on the bright July
first morning once we got to the breakfast at the four way stop in downtown Tisdale
the sun was pleasant and it was time to take off the jacket. It was about nine when
we lined up for utterly fantastic pancakes and sausage. The sign said three pancakes,
three sausage, $3.00. The pancake mix was donated by the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool
and they were mixed up with a power drill and served onto your plate right from the
grill and they were perfect.
What a way to start Canada Day, taking pictures of flowers as we walked to and from
the breakfast!
