Spring in Swift Current |

It was early last week when a robin enjoyed Mr. Eckart's bird bath and the 81 year old photographer had his camera ready to capture the moment. Mule deer have been a real problem in the city of Swift Current. They are bold and nip off the tulips as soon as they flower. Last year they were not seen wandering around but as you can see this spring the semi-urban dwellers have returned to the scene of the crimes of the past. Fences help but to yards without barriers the mule deer are as free as the robins to come and go as they please. The difference being the robins don't gobble up the flowers. |
