Community museums tend to be collections of memorabilia and what people refer to
as antiques but this museum has gone a good deal toward demonstrating the way of
life juxtaposed to the conditions today. Though the museum houses lots of displays
counters with various interesting items the uses of diorama displays to depict perhaps
the things that play an important role in the lives of people during various eras.
Beekeeping still a vital part of the agricultural world here today is demonstrated
as it was many years ago with various examples of the equipment used up until recent
times.
The display seen below on the prohibition era is a dandy, concentrating on the artifacts
of the era that we so often see today without realising the part they played in the
past.
The sports display below left is a great way of seeing things in the light of the
present day. |
