Why was Adrian Measner fired as, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Canadian Wheat Board (CWB)?
According to David Anderson M.P. for Cypress Hills-Grasslands, and Parliamentary Secretary for the CWB, Measner was asked to support the government and he refused, so he was fired (Southwest Booster Dec. 21/-6)
What support did the Conservative government expect from Mr. Measner. Simply to stop promoting single desk marketing and start giving his support for its termination (marketing choice).
Mr. Strahl has appointed a new Canadian Wheat Board CEO.
Question – Is the new man also under government orders to support marketing choice? If not, why the double standard?
