Moisture remain in the normal range for this part of Saskatchewan and the growing
conditions seem to be at their very best. Just East of Tisdale an alfalfa crop has
already had its first cutting and others are ready. The lushness of the growth this
year is impressive and both man and geese are impressed. Only a mile West of this
scene the geese are in the majority and when we stopped to take this picture it was
not of the great field but rather a crane that was swooping off to an important date.
