hardware. Over twenty people representing dealers from all parts of Saskatchewan
were on hand at 9:00 AM Tuesday morning to hear John Dante (Apple
Canada) explain the rationale behind the machine and the important features of
this radically improved piece of technology. The goal the designers had in mind was to create an attractive smartly designed computer that would use the smallest amount of space while offering performance and still keep the cost well in check. What has been achieved is quite remarkable. This computer is top of the line performance, checking out at twice the speed of a the fastest Pentium II available, with its full 15" monitor, with high scan rates delivering no flicker. With the operating system being the easiest most modern system used in computers today and it is out of its packing case plugged in and up and running in minutes. Devices can be plugged into it and disconnected without damaging anything or requiring that the machine be restarted. |
