Tisdale, This Is George, George, This Is Tisdale

Though George Holliday became the new minister for St. Paul's United Church in Tisdale mid summer this was our first opportunity to meet him and in turn introduce him to you. Heather Anderson has been serving St. Paul's for many years and during this past two years has been assisted by Elaine MacLaughlin. Both decided it was time to go last winter and George Holliday is the man who is now filling their shoes. Heather continues to serve the congregations of Ridgedale and Aylsham from her home in Nipawin while Elaine is now serving as the secretary for the United Church Presbytery in Prince Albert. George Holliday grew in the Wynyard, Elfros area where he still owns a farm about six miles North East of Elfros but he no longer is an active farmer though he and his family still live on their place.
