Requiem for a spruce tree
|
|
FTLComm - Tisdale - Saturday, January 11, 2003 |

A
symbol, a decoration, a tradition, a living peace of time
Ten years it has been soaking up water and sunshine
It stood with lights and treasures like some ornament shrine
But its stately life is over as it rests there in the snow
Awaiting firey execution in a bonfire it will go!
