Contractors Expand House Number 5

When the new house was moved onto its fountain I noticed that about one third of the basement had no house. Sooner or later mysteries like this are solved and this one has instead of a deck, a complete addition or extension is being made to the original new building. When they started work on this lot it was clear that the owner wanted to preserve the natural treed setting of the lot and that is real obvious now with the house in place and the addition framed. This house is on a corner lot that for years served as a winter outdoor skating rink for neighbourhood children who have now grown up. If you look closely at the top picture you will discover a man crouched in a basement window as Patterson Concrete was busy at work putting in the basement floor today.
