I was sure the wind Friday morning was coming from the East but by mid morning it was getting pretty excited coming from the West and as you can see in the picture above, by afternoon was down right miserable.

The picture at the right shows some hardy soles with a little their house as a windbreak holding a yard sale but if you look closely you will see a tree that has given up a limb to the winds and the broken section of tree covers the sidewalk.

Amazingly, despite the amount of rain we have received dust was blowing down the streets and drying the countryside out thoroughly. That same wind was making things difficult with the forest fire that

threatened La Ronge Thursday and was flairing up again Friday.
