Born in Winnipeg and a graduate of the University of Alberta, Don Trembath is an author of young readers books having knocked off his tenth novel. He began writing in high school and was pretty disheartened by the number of rejections of his first two books, but he kept plugging away and today his books are recommended reading by several Canadian departments of education.

Last Thursday night Don Trembath read to some eager listeners from his 2005 book "Rooster" at the LaRonge Public Library.
