FTLComm - Tisdale - Wednesday, June 3, 1998
Twenty
new homes being built at one time in a community the size of Tisdale is big news,
but the interesting thing about these projects is that nine are being located in
older neighbourhoods. Don DeMarsh, town councilman
and real estate agent for Tisdale Agencies,
said today that it looks like home builders are very concerned about location. There
are still six lots available in the new development area East of the hospital so
it would seem the new houses are being distributed evenly around the town. The new
inland terminals are being credited with much of the demand for housing in Tisdale.
Existing houses for sale are in very few in number.
Monday evening saw the removal of an older house as it was quickly dismantled and
trucked away making room for one of the new houses. |
