This three man crew stopped to fill up their water tank on the way to the field this morning as they headed out with empty hives. With the flowers blooming and the sun warm honey bees are working overtime and this for me was a shocker. How long would it take to fill a box like each of these on this truck load? At this time of the year they can fill one up in two days and this crew is busy replacing the full ones with empties every three days. They will make the switch and be back to the farm to empty them out later this afternoon.
