The Saskatchewan Computer Educator's Conferece was this past weekend at the Bessborough Hotel in Saskatoon. This year's theme was "Connected What's Next?" Norman Lee from River East School Division in Winnipeg presented the keynote address on the Internet Way of Learning. The Conference consists of a series of workshops, shorter one hour presentations and the displays by various hardware and software vendors. Ron Longhurst of Prince Albert and Dave Harrison from Cabri did a fine job with helping teachers understand the process of getting their school connected. Dr Earl Misanchuk and Bonnie Skaalid did a workshop on web page creation while Dale Wiebe did a workshop on multimedia. Faster Than Light Communications from Tisdale did a short presentation on graphics Saturday morning and on Friday a presentation on Macintosh developments this past school year.
